In conflict and disaster, the first thing to go is the signal. Satellites can be jammed. Towers collapse. Infrastructure crumbles. And without comms, soldiers fight blind and responders stumble in the dark.

That’s why we’ve founded Silkmod.

Our single focus: building self-healing drone networks that can be deployed from a suitcase and bring comms back instantly.

Everything we do is aimed at solving one urgent problem — how to keep people connected when it matters most.

We’re engineers and builders, combining autonomy, networking, and UAV design into a system that reroutes digitally and, if needed, moves physically. Networks that don’t wait on towers. Signals that don’t depend on satellites.

We’re starting lean. A small team obsessed with proving this works — first in prototypes, then in the field.
